Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Dearly collects and how we use it. Dearly is provided by Individual Entrepreneur Vadim Vetoshkin, Tbel Abuseridze street, N 38, apartment N63, Batumi city, Georgia (“we”, “us”), who is responsible for your data.
1. What we collect
From couples (account holders): your email address; the content you add to your website — names, dates, venues, photos, texts and contacts; your guest list and your notes.
From guests: the replies they send through the RSVP form — name, whether they are coming, number of people, answers to the questions and a message; and, for personal invitation links, when and how many times the link was opened.
Payment data: payments are processed by Paddle. We do not receive or store your card details — only a confirmation of the payment and your email.
Technical data: essential cookies (see “Cookies” below) and server logs (IP address, browser type) that we keep for security.
2. Why we use it
To provide the service you asked for: to create and show your website, collect your guests’ replies and let you manage them; to keep the service secure; to answer your requests; and to meet our legal obligations, such as accounting.
Under the GDPR and similar laws, we rely on: our contract with you — to provide the service; our legitimate interests — to keep the service secure and to answer your requests; and our legal obligations — for example, accounting and tax.
For guests’ replies, the couple who created the website decides what to collect and why; we process the replies on the couple’s behalf.
When you open Dearly, we check which country your IP address belongs to, because the service isn’t available in Georgia. We don’t store the result. IP geolocation by DB-IP (db-ip.com).
3. Who we share it with
Paddle.com — to process payments, taxes and refunds as our Merchant of Record. Along with the payment, we pass Paddle your email address and your wedding date. Our infrastructure providers — hosting, database, file storage, email delivery and Cloudflare, which protects the site from attacks — only to run the service, on our instructions.
Your guests see the content you publish on your website. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
4. Where your data is stored
Our servers are located in the United States. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, your data is transferred there with the safeguards required by law, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your website data while your account is active and for up to 12 months after your wedding date, unless you ask us to delete it earlier. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, or to restrict or object to its processing — write to support@hidearly.com. Guests can make these requests about their replies too. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies: one keeps you signed in, and Cloudflare, our security provider, sets one that helps protect the site from bots. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
We don’t track you across other websites, so “Do Not Track” browser signals don’t change how Dearly works.
8. Children
Dearly is not intended for children under 16.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the current version is always on this page with its date. Questions: support@hidearly.com.
